Nestled within a striking architectural landscape, the Grand Hotel offers guests a unique blend of luxury and value, which I found most compelling during my recent stay. Upon arrival, my room wasn't ready, but the gracious staff promptly compensated with complimentary coffee and late checkout-testament to their dedication to service. The hotel boasts free Wi-Fi and well-appointed rooms, featuring flat-screen TVs and electric kettles that enhance the stay. The carpeted floors added to the comfort, and I was pleased to find the bathroom was clean with an easy-to-use shower/tub. Culinary delights await at breakfast, with Mikey, the chef, creating a delightful atmosphere. The location is superb, allowing easy access to Lerwick's attractions. Considering the attentive staff and overall experience, choosing the Grand Hotel presents both comfort and value in a memorable setting-worthy of consideration for discerning travelers.
